Lousy grooming like that is the VERY reason I started my webpage in the first place! Nothing angers me more than the bad grooming I see of our lovely breed, particularly in my country. There is absolutely no excuse for it! I tell people that if the groomer is only going to groom half the dog that the owner should only pay for half the groom! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! "Owner request"? Nonsense! Nothing but an excuse for a groomer's lack of skills. Idiot!

I enjoyed this comedy, espacialy the comments that go along: happy happy

for example:

dogdayz (the groomer) wrote:Yes, all pet groomers should know proper styles for the breed but there are many variations that pet owners come up with so it does throw off the correct look sometimes.

I think every breed is recognizable for its own grooming.
A Schnauzer is not a Schnauzer without his/her grooming.
We, always, do grooming for shows also to pet dogs and we are not interested if he/she must or not must go in Expo.
My daughter Giulia, fourteen years old, often grooms and prepares Schnauzers for Shows.
She likes do this very very much and many times in the evening her hands are twince bigger.
I know the Scnauzer grooming is very difficoult but after a so hard work the result is wonderful.
In these photos, Giulia has done the grooming to Sally and Manly.

Regards, Merylisa.

I know I need much time for grooming a Giant because I have had a female Giant.
I use of cosmetics :
INGENYA Winner Progress for Wire Coats.
#1 ALL SYSTEMS Professional Formula Whitening highly concentrated safe for all colors and Crisp Coat Shampoo
This is the web-site : www.1allsystems.com
I buy ALL SYSTEMS in Show, but also in the best shops of animals.
I think this is an excellent product.
Do you know it ?

All the best Giulia.

I still use Crown Royale if the dog was not bathed the morning of the show, but I now prefer using #1 All Systems Botanical Conditioner after the bath. I leave it in for a couple minutes before rinsing it out, and don't use anything else afterwards except maybe a finishing spray. With the Crown Royale, I usually use some sort of hairsetting gel, along with a finishing spray. The BS will get a bit of chalk in the lighter part of their furnishings.
