I've just started researching Giant Schnauzers now and I think their beautiful, intelligent, robust and very serene looking. However, how are they really with children? I have a 3 and 6 year old girls. In the past I've had german shepherd growing up to a golden and than a rottie. I'm looking for the all around happy, protective dog and I'm really considering a Giant!

Any information would be helpful - thank you.

From my experience - the Giants are great with children Smile I think it'll be good choice.
