Ciao from Italy

Hello everybody,

I am Alberto and I live in Italy. Since 1990 I share my life with pepper-salt standard schnauzers, since 1993 I take part to/visit show dogs and since 2000 I actively work for our national club (Club Italiano Schnauzer & Pinscher - http://www.schnauzerpinscher.it) as webmaster, show organizer and else. Our four-legged family is actually composed by 2 p/s standards, 2 Cairn Terriers & 1 recue dog.

Finally a forum focused only on schnauzers! A perfect place to share the little I know and learn much more about them!

Yes, Cairn Terriers are SO lovely and funny, little lovely devils...

Sugar (the rescue) is a mixed-breed, probably from non-purebred pointing dogs. Here is a photo:

As you see, curiosly she looks a lot like a Vizsla... She is a lovely, sweet old lady!

We don't know exactly; my girlfriend took her from an animal shelter 5 years ago, and at the time the volounteers told her that Sugar could be from 3 to 6 years old, so now 8 to 11! But she is still going very strong, loving a lot chasing lizard with Cairns and barking at the people outside our yard with our Schnauzers!
